Minimum Education Eligibility Criteria For Admission

  1. 10+2 with English or Hindi and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from state open school recognized by government and national institute of open school (NIOS) Recognized by central government. However science is preferable.
  2. 10+2 with English or Hindi having 40%of marks in vocational ANM course from school recognized by Indian nursing council.
  3. 10+2 with English or Hindi having 40% of marks in vocational stream health care science from a recognized CBSE board/center.

Registered ANM With Pass Marks For Foreign Nationals

  • The entry qualification equivalency i.e., 12th standard will be obtained by association of Indian universities, New Delhi.  institution, state nursing council will be responsible to ensure that the qualification and eligibility will be equivalent to what has been prescribed as above.

Reservation : 

  • For disabled candidates: 3% disability reservation to be considered with a disability of locomotor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower Extremity and other eligibility criteria with regard to age and qualification will be same as prescribed for each nursing Program.
  • State government and nursing expert in the panel which may decide whether the candidates have the disability of locomotor of 40% to 50%.
  • 5% is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.

Any other quotas as per the state govt. under the reservation policy

B.Sc. (Nursing)

Minimum Education Eligibility Criteria For Admission

  • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
  • Minimum education:
    • 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
  • Student shall be medically fit.
  • Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
  • Student shall be admitted once in a year.

Minimum Education Eligibility Criteria For Admission

It is a 2 year degree course after GNM .On successful completion of the course one can go for jobs in Govt. Hospitals, Private Hospitals & Education Institutes.

Courses intend to prepare professional nurses, who are committed to the promotion of health, prevention of illness and care & rehabilitation of the sick. It provides breadth and depth of knowledge to enable the nurses to function effectively in varied nursing situations where a nurse may work.

Areas of study include Anatomy, Physiology, and Microbiology. First Aid, Nutrition, Biochemistry, Psychology, Sociology, Fundamentals of Nursing, Preventive & Social Medicine Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Medical & Surgical Nursing, Pediatric Nursing etc. English and Computer Education are also taught during the course as an Elective subject.

On successful completion of the course Nurses can be placed in Govt. Hospital, Pvt. Hospital, NGO and they can also go abroad and get salary of 2 to 3 Lakh per Month.

The candidate should have done GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) diploma from any recognized Council.
Age should not be less than 17 years on 31st Dec. of admission year.
